Yanqina Dense Ultra Resistance Volume Mascara Review

 Hello sweethearts!

Not long ago I won a Yanqina Dense ultra resistance volume Mascara from a KKCenterHK giveaway (KKCenterHK is an asian online shop in which you can find everything beauty related), I received it yesterday and I always get very excited when I get something for free so I decided to make a review about it asap. (Even though my last review was also about another mascara, sorry girls, this is mascara review week haha).

The packaging is very shiny, the metalized parts on the cover are iridescent (their color changes depending on the light). Besides that, it's shape is pretty much normal, just like any other mascara's packaging. The goupillon is big and thick, it's very easy to use and reaches everywhere easily, it's also the average goupillon you'll find in most mascaras. It feels very cheap and it's made of super light plastic.

To be honest, I had never tried an asian mascara so I didn't know what to expect from it.
I had never heard about the brand yanqina and had never seen their products, so I decided to make a little research about it.

Description:

"YANQINA Dense Ultra Resistance Volume Mascara increases the definition of your eyelashes,
and also leaves a long-lasting curl so that you can have charming makeup for the entire day!"

Apparently it can only be found at KKCenterHK and it costs 19.85$ (or 14.64€)
I tried looking for it in google and ebay and didn't find any results besides the one from KKCenterHK which was kind of surprising to me. On the other hand I could find other Yanqina products in other shops, but not this mascara in particular.

Anyway, This is how it looks on me:

I like the fact that you can barely see any lumps if any at all, and how well it defines your eyelashes. It certainly does what it says in it's description. It's easy to remove but it's not waterproof so I guess it should be haha. The formula is good.

¿Things I didn't like about it? It's packaging feels very cheap considering it's a 20$ mascara, it just looks like any 4$ mascara you'd purchase in your usual supermarket. I don't really care because it does it's job, but if I had seen it somewhere it WOULD NOT have called my attention at all and I'd have never bought it cause of it's cheap appearance. It also can only be found in one shop, which can be bothersome for some people.

¿Would I repurchase this product?

I don't think so because there are cheaper mascaras that do the same thing and can be found easily, I definitely liked the product but I find it a little expensive and hard to find.

Avon Mega Effects Mascara Review

Hi cuties!

Some of you asked me about my actual mascara which is Mega effects from Avon, so I decided to make a review of it.

It's actually a product I stole from my mum because I don't normally purchase stuff from avon, I still know it costs around 11€.

The first thing that caught my attention about it is it's... weird shape and packaging?
Then, I used it to see if it was any good and I fell in love with the result. It's kind of a hate-love relationship because I hate the applicator, it's very easy to get your eyelid dirty with mascara because of it, and it's very hard to use. On the other hand, I really liked the result and how it looked on my eyelashes.

On the first picture you can see my eyelashes with no mascara at all on them, I never curl them because they're naturally curled, that's why they look a little wild haha, you can even see they stay placed in the same position after applying the mascara.

I think this product really defines your eyelashes and frames your eyes, what I liked the most about it, is the fact that it never looks lumpy and makes your eyelashes smoother than most of the other mascaras I've tried.
You can actually see a few lumps in this picture but it's because I used the macro option on my camera and it even captured the tiniest eyebrow hairs I didn't even know were there, it looks way better in real.

¿Would I repurchase? Definitely, it's my favorite mascara at the moment.

Dear Girls Be Clear BB cream [Etude House] Review

Hi sweeties!

Todays update is a review about Etude House's Dear Girls Be Clear BB cream ^^
My favorite BB cream (Holika Holika Peach girl) has become incredibly hard to find during the last months, I still don't know what happened to it, but now I find myself in the situation of having to find a new BB that will satisfy my needs, that's why I purchased Dear Girls Be Clear BB cream from eBay for 10.49$. It contains 30g of product and expires 12 months after it's opening.

As you probably have noticed after seeing this picture, the adorable package of this BB is what caught my attention first. It's pink, it has cute floral patterns and random drawings, it looks very feminine and it's easy to carry around because of it's size.

The second thing that caught my attention is it's formula.

1. It's paraben, benzophenone, talc, artificial color and triethanolamine FREE
2. It contains vitamin extracts: Sea-buckthorns, fig extract, pomegranate extract, grapefruit extract & lemon zest extract.
3. It contains organic oils: Brazilian nut oil, sunfower seed oil, jojoba seed oil, argan oil, olive oil and almond oil to keep your skin moisturized.

It has a 30 spf and whitening effect.

All perfect so far right?

Unfortunately, this BB comes in a single shade. My skin is very light, and it has a yellow subtone, this BB looked ok at the start, but once I spread it over my hand it was a little too dark for me, which was kinda disappointing.

I figured the difference is not that big and I can always make it look lighter with my loose powders, but I still miss my old BB T~T it was just perfect.

It's coverage is medium-high as you can see on the picture above, I only used a thin layer of product.

However, I'm still using this BB while looking for my perfect one. It feels good, it keeps your skin moisturized and leaves a semi matte finish. It has a nice soft smell that lingers on your skin only for a while. I do have to reapply it before the morning is over though, but I mostly have to do this with all the BB creams I tried so far.

Conlusion,

Its actually a good BB, it has a pure formula that nourishes your skin and keeps it healthy and moisturized, the problem is it only comes in one shade which is a little too dark for me, I also prefer BB's with a dewier look. If you're looking for a BB with a nice formula, medium to high coverage, spf, semi matte finish and you skin is not too dark, this is for you!

(Mostly because of it having one shade only)

Hope this review was useful :D

Holika Holika Peach Girl BB Cream Review!

Hi girls!

This is my actual favorite BB cream, I bought it from eBay for 12$ and I haven't stopped repurchasing it since then,  I don't know why, but it's been getting harder and harder to find, to the point where only one seller in ebay has it and the price has gone up to 23$ plus 43$ shipping, which I obviously won't even bother spending on it :/! It's so sad because I still haven't found a BB cream that makes me nearly as happy as this one and apparently this one stopped being sold... I'll talk about it anyway.

The box is adorable,  pink girly colors and an iridiscent border on it's name, I like it a lot.
The container might look boring and it's made of plastic, but it makes the product easy to use and you can get just the ammount you need because of it's perfec sized hole. It also comes with a pretty creamy blush and a little mirror that caught my attention from the first time.

(Here's a swatch of the blush color, isn't it pretty?)

It's a creamy and easy to extend cream, it has a delicious peachy scent and it has a medium to high coverage.

It leaves a good face finish and a moisturized and pretty skin, it's a moist finish but you can always seal it with powders for a matte look. I personally like using a little powder for a semi matte effect that looks healthy and amazing both in pictures and in real :)

I really can say nothing bad about this BB, it's just perfect for me, I love it and I'm so sad I can't find it anywhere anymore, if anyone knows a similar BB cream please let me know.

¿Which is your favorite BB cream?

Have a nice day ^^

Baviphat Magic Girls Plus BB Cream review

Hi sweethearts! ¿How's your week going?

More than a month ago I purchased my usual BB cream (Holika's Peach girl BB) from e-Bay. I noticed my old one was coming to an end, and as you already know products ordered from Korea take around a month to arrive. So I waited, and waited... 36 days passed, and I was so pissed, my old BB was already empty. So I contacted the seller, enquiring about my item location. ¿Can you imagine what he told me?

"Oh, the product is out of stock and we won't receive it until a week or so, you can either get a refund or wait until then for us to deliver the product to you"
Well, couldn't you have told me this before waiting for 36 days after having paid for the product?  he/she even had it set as "shipped". This person didn't even bother or try to contact me for telling me the product was out of stock, nor did he talk about it on the auction, until I decided to send a message one month later to enquire about my purchase. I was really pissed, I obviously got my money back, but seriously, I'm not buying anything from this person anymore. Anyway back to the point!

My BB was already empty, and I couldn't order a new one from Korea because I'd have to wait for another month and I didn't have time for that. At the end, I purchased Fresh feel for oily skin Magic Girs BB cream from the spanish e-Bay because I couldn't find my BB elsewhere, had it home next day.

It's package is ok, nothing special. The good thing is that for once, I was able to read the ingredients and the description because they weren't written in korean. Sadly the ingredient list wasn't very convincing for me.

It contains Dimethicone (Silicon, which isn't good for oily acne prone skin, since it can block your pores) it surprised me because this BB is supposed to be for "oily and sensitive skin", parabens, and squalane (which can be animal (shark liver oil) or vegetable (from olive oil), it doesn't mention which one of these it contains.

"Contain squalane for a fresh moisture, it makes you skin tone smooth, it has a 30spf, it contains natural ingredients Hamamelis and verdolaga, special for sensitive skin"

When it says it contains natural ingredients it means some of them, not ALL, and I didn't like that it contains dimethicone and parabens.

I still tested it, even tho I didn't like it's ingredients

- Nice shade, I think it fits light skin with yellow tones best.
- Medium-High coverage, it actually makes your skin tone smooth and gives you a "good face" effect.
- It has a matte finish and it feels light.
- Smells like solar screen ( exactly like that xD )
- 30 spf
- It doesn't control oil, at least not for me.
- It moisturizes skin ( Well, it doesn't dry it but I didn't feel moisturized )

Conclusion:

- It makes your skin tone smooth and it protects it from the sun, it has a matte finish. It doesn't control oil for me, nor does it moisturize my skin. I prefer BB's with a dewy or semimate finish so this isn't for me. But if you're looking for something that covers your flaws, has spf, leaves a matte finish and you don't mind about parabens and dimethicone, this is for you. Also have to mention how afforable this BB is considering how long it lasts.

Hope the review was useful ;) have a wonderful week.

3W Clinic Natural Make Up Powder nº21 Review

Hi sweeties!

Today's update comes with a review of my actual 3W Clinic loose powder.

I bought it from eBay for 5€, which is awesome considering it contains 30g of product,
which is A LOT for loose powder. I'm using it for more than a year and I didn't even use half of it.

It's available in three shades, light beige nº 21 beige nº23, and translucent. I have the nº21 shown below ^^

Description

This loose powder promises:

- Making your face appear thinner, due to the refletion of the light which causes a tridimensional effect. (This sounds really stupid to be honest)

- It is long lasting, waterproof and sweatproof, it doesn't stain.

- It highlights your face, fixes your make up and leaves a semi matte effect

- It's Moisturizing, makes your skin soft and controls oil.

It's a non comedogenic product, it contains NO oils, it doesn't obstruct pores and it allows your skin to breathe easily. This product is very famous between korean celebrities, professional make up artists use them on Korean Dramas and they're the most sold loose powders in Korea, Japan and Hong Kong.

In the next picture I'm weating Peach girl BB cream +  3W Clinic Natural Make Up Powder nº21

My thoughts

The loose powder is very fine, it has an enjoyable soft baby powder smell that I personally love.
They make your skin irresistibly soft and velvety, it doesn't crease and it leaves a matte beautiful finish. They're perfect for using over your BB cream, I've got oily combination skin and they control oil for more than 5 hours in my case and they fix my make up for a long time. I think it depends on what kind of BB you're using tho :), you can always reapply and look like new. The only problem is it's too big to carry around

It says it makes your face look thinner cause of the reflection of the light blablabla... Lies, it doesn't make my face look any thinner, nor did I expect it too to be honest.

The package is nothing special, just a plastic round container but it serves it's purpose.
I still can't believe how cheap this product is and how much powders it brings, it really is worth it.

Conclusion

I haven't tried any loose powders that work better than these, normally it's very hard for me to find any that fit my skin tone and they're too dark, these are just perfect tho and you can choose out of three shades, one of them translucent! I don't think I'm gonna stop using these any time soon, I totally recommend them if you're looking for loose powders to fix your make up and get a semi matte velvety effect.

★ 5/5

¿Have you tried these? ¿What loose powder or compact powder do you use?

Goodbye Pore ever Etude House Primer Review

Hi cuties!
Today's update comes with a review of one of my favorite products. It's Etude House's Goodbye Pore Ever Primer!

The Package is awesome and I love it.

The ingredients are written in Korean so I couldn't understand anything.
This primer promises to minimize pores, control oil and it makes it easier for you to use your make up. It contains 20ml and its price is around 9$ in eBay.

The quantity of product we use is easily regulated by the tiny hole of the container. It has a soft vanilla scent that lingers on your skin very shortly, it's also very creamy.

But, does it really control oil and minimize pores?
Here's a picture of my skin without any make up on it.

As you can see my pores are enlarged due to my ability to destroy and explode pimples and blackheads. I apply not even a pea of the product all over the affected area, it takes around 5 minutes to settle so don't apply your make up until it's completely dry. When it is your skin will feel velvety and soft, but the wait is totally worth it to get the desired result, which is this:

As you can see my pores are obviously smoother and less noticeable on the second picture, I didn't really expect this product to work SO WELL.
it does promise to control oil, I really don't know if this is true because I always use my BB and lose powders after using this powder.

-Pros:

- Minimizes pores in a noticeable way.
- It's affordable.
- It has a cute package.

-Cons:

- It takes a while to settle which can be bothersome if you're in a hurry.

♥♥♥♥♥ 5/5

Conclusion:

I really like this product, it does it's job and the result is amazing. I don't mind having to wait for it to dry because the result is worth it, would totally buy it again.

¿Have you tried this product?

Cat wink's BB Cream, Magic Bubble Peeling Pack & First attempt at making cupcakes

UPDATE: After using this BB cream my face got a terrible break out,  after two hours my make up got spoiled, it made my skin oily and incredibly greasy, not to mention the way it enlarged my pores. A total disaster and waste of money, I don't recommend it.

Hi ladies! Hope you're having a nice week. Mine is being awesome, can't complain about it.

I bought Tony Moly's Cat's Wink BB cream a few weeks ago for 10,99$ in eBay. It arrived yesterday after a long wait (Finally!), and the kind seller included a couple of gifts.

I was very excited about receiving this parcel :D
As you can see the BB comes in a extremely cute package. Unfortunately for me, my parcel got smashed and the box is destroyed as you can barely see if you look at the corners. It actually looks so much worse in real... This pissed me off a little bit :<

The cream is of a very light shade that fits my milky skin perfectly xD

It has a gel consistency, and as you can see on my next picture, it covers skin flawlessly. It's coverage reminded me of Holika Holika's Petit BB cream, but this one is just a lighter shade, just what I was looking for (As I said in one of my previous entries, Holika's Petit BB is just too dark for me!)
The problem is after wearing for a while the product just... becomes really weird, it enlarges my pores, makes them more noticeable and it creases all over your face. It actually happened the three times I used this product, not only once, no idea why this happened tho.

Everything on the box is written in Korean so I couldn't understand anything at all, but after researching in the internet I figured out what this BB is about.

Tony Moly's Cat's Wink BB cream is supposed to control oil, whiten and brighten your skin and it has a very good coverage, it can cover blemishes and dark spots easily. It also has a 25 SPF and it's benzophenone, mineral oil and artificial dye free.

Apparently it doesn't work for me :S

About Etude's Magic Bubble water peeling; It can be used once or twice a week, it's some kind of gel that becomes foam once you apply it gently on your face and massage it. It has a wonderful scent, and it makes your face feel great as you keep massaging, but I didn't feel any difference on my skin after using it to be honest. Maybe one use is not enough to feel any effect...

Have a wonderful week,

X Laura

Base Revlon Colorstay 150 Buff Review

Hola guapas ^^

- Efecto mate total, cero brillos.
- Piel suave, no se transfiere y parece que no lleves nada
- Cobertura alta, bye bye imperfecciones.

Contras:

Besitos
